A single Crimson King maple, planted in 2005, was the humble beginning of the fifteen individually themed gardens, which clustered together form the garden. These gardens, designed and cultivated by volunteers, are supported by memorial donations, fundraisers and contributions. Without the generosity of donors, the Garden could not be properly planted or maintained.
